Japan is home to many matcha-growing regions, each with its own distinctive qualities. From the traditional styles of Uji to the innovative approaches in Kagoshima, and the unique offerings of regions like Nishio, Shizuoka, and Yame, we have explored teas from every corner of the country. Each region's matcha boasts its own exquisite attributes. Yet, only the matcha cultivated in the rich volcanic soil of Kagoshima meets our stringent standards. It pairs beautifully with coconut milk and fosters both inner tranquility and outer wellness, being grown without the use of pesticides.

We have also found that matcha tastes better when it is sourced from small, family-driven growers with whom we have built strong relationships. These growers are dedicated to sustainable practices and actively contribute to their local communities.

Our matcha has an intense green color, a sweet and mild aroma, a very fine texture from stone-ground tencha leaves, and strong umami with just the right amount of bitterness to provide an interesting counterplay with the creamy coconut milk. It evokes memories of a well-balanced coffee, but without the intense caffeine kick; instead, it offers a delicious, slow high and a vibrant green afterglow.
